Meet Jules Miller

Jules Miller is a content creator and digital producer with the goal of working in live events, live television and entertainment journalism. She has worked for companies such as The Toronto International Film Festival, the Banff World Media Festival and Netflix. Currently she is the digital producer for Flavour Network.

She graduated from the RTA: Media Production program at Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) with distinction and a concentration in Television and Video. She loves watching and making movies. She has been making movies since she was 12 years old. In grade 10 she started taking film class at school. Jules' love for making movies began by making Single-Camera productions however recently she has found a new passion for Multi-Camera Productions. In her university career she has directed multiple multi-camera productions including a live show in collaboration with 3 universities from Australia, Brazil, and the Netherlands. Additionally she worked on the executive team for the 41st Annual TARA Awards as the content producer. In the future she plans to work in television production.

Jules has also been a member of the YouTube community for ten years. First as a viewer and fan, and now as a creator. She has 500 subscribers and a total of 40,000 views on her videos. In 2013 she attended Playlist Live where she met and connected with other creators. In 2017 she volunteered at Buffer Festival where she helped with registration and the red carpet. Jules started regularly posting Tik Tok videos in the fall of 2018. Her videos have over 3 million total views, 730,00 total likes and 4,800 followers.

Silver 2023 Canadian Online Publishing Award for Best Video Content with Food Network Canada’s Tre Sanderson and Roger Mooking for their impactful conversation “Being Black in Hospitality.”
